I've got my dog, she's my friend. As far as people to hang out with, seems like everybody's always got something going on. Most people I would consider close, have wives, and being single, I feel like the third wheel. I can round up some people to go abalone diving, but working around everyone's schedule, yeah, that again. Never really thought about it too much.

I think you will find when guys get married and especially have kids the friends kind of get traded in for the family and most women do their best to separate the men from former friends and replace them with their circle of friends. Also over time guys tend to drift apart from their friends because of the way men form relationships with other men as opposed to women who do it very differently.
If you look at single guys, they are usually the ones with a group of close friends and I mean guys who have been single a very long time.
This is just my observation over the years. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
