Me "bruvver", Mikey, lived in my "mother-in-law" apt. He had a hot rod shovel head and I had one as well. He was the only guy on the planet that I would ride beside drunk or sober.

We drank a LOT together, cracked a few heads together, and ran a lot of old hides. We raised Hell and put a prop under it on more than one occasion.

He got married and I did too.

We see each other about twice a year now. LOL
There's a whole novel there, Wullie. I'm trying to visualise a hot rod shovel head; I think I have it.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

I've got my dog, she's my friend. As far as people to hang out with, seems like everybody's always got something going on. Most people I would consider close, have wives, and being single, I feel like the third wheel. I can round up some people to go abalone diving, but working around everyone's schedule, yeah, that again. Never really thought about it too much.

We're disgustingly BORING nowadays. Mikey had a liver transplant so NO MORE BEER for Mikey.

I do not miss the bar scene. I'd rather be home with the family.

Guys form work? pbbbbbbbbt. Can't stand to be around most of 'em at work and sure ain't gonna hang 'em with after.

I got 3/4 of a hot rod pan head from HELL, sitting in my shop. Ain't decided if I want to finish it or sell the damn thing.

I think you will find when guys get married and especially have kids the friends kind of get traded in for the family and most women do their best to separate the men from former friends and replace them with their circle of friends. Also over time guys tend to drift apart from their friends because of the way men form relationships with other men as opposed to women who do it very differently.

If you look at single guys, they are usually the ones with a group of close friends and I mean guys who have been single a very long time.

This is just my observation over the years.
