Watch out I have converted many Anti-Gun Liberals into shooters with this one
Well, that is a tough question indeed, and it has a very simple answer in my book.

A little preface first.
In my opinion, having a loaded gun in a drawer, in a house such as mine where there are a 7 year old and a 11 year running around would make me less fit for the parenting role than I was hoping I were. That is my opinion on that, I'm not pointing any fingers, it is my view, simple as that.
The reason for thinking so is the simple fact that my little girl are much more likely to open said drawer and play around with that loaded gun than two goons actually barging in to my home.
Accidents like that happens a lot, I'm not ever entering that statistics with myself, or any of mine if I can help it.

Now, for the sake of argument, we'll put that gun in there all the same

The short answer is obvious, two between the eyes on both. In a heartbeat.

And here comes the liberal twist:
The two scenarios I have just laid out is excactly why there should be a more stringent gun-law.
In the US, and everywhere else.

Defusing that situation would be my preferred approach, each and every time, I kinda have to, there are no guns in my house.
Giving them what they want, be it valuables or whatever would be a far lower price for me than to become a murderer.
Justified or not, I do not wish to become one, nor do I think my family would like that either.

My first point of action though, should I feel that such an event could actually happen in my home, in my neighborhood, my very first action would not be to get a gun, it would be to call my real estate agent.
I owe my kids a better place to grow up than that.
