I think you made a typo. That should be "had" all the money

I have a Remington 11-87 that I've shot clays with before, but nothing formal, just portable-thrower-with-friends-on-a-mountain type shooting. I've hunted a little bit, but it really wasn't worth the trouble in my opinion...though I do really enjoy well-cooked pheasant.

Oh yeah, I also like shooting full magnums through my Benelli. Talk about sore shoulders.

Bill,
I'm a bit surprised. I assumed you would trap shoot like Jed, Jethro, Grannie and Ellie May Clampett...with a .22!

Thanked: 1I shot alot of sporting clays. The gun I could afford at the time was a Browning Citori Lightning Sporting Clays. Nice shooting gun.
I always wanted a Krieghoff...still can't afford one! I did meet a gent that had a full barrel set for his K-80. Man, I shudder to think what that cost.
I'm now into USPSA / IPSC.

I really enjoy trap shooting but have not been in a very long time. I do find that using blasting caps to remove stumps tends to give me the same sense of relaxation. I may not have used all the knowledge my Father passed on to me, but using explosives is definately one of my favorites.

I must admit I have become something of a throw back to earlier times even in this area. I started shooting as a kid and was on the rifle and pistol team in college (when they still had such things at public universities) After college I became interested in muzzleloading firearms and eventually flintlocks.
Now I frequent the sporting clays course with a 12ga SxS flintlock...it slows me down a bit...mostly because everyone wants to shoot it.
