I do get some things done by the local garage, mainly as they have a hoist and I an getting to fat and stiff and sore to go crawling about under the low slung stuff. A hoist in in the wings once the machinery shed get a concrete floor. The road goes on forever and the party never ends !!!

A buddy of mine and I had a shop and we built a couple Pitts S-1's and some other home brewed half designed abortions. Fixed a LOT of old tube and rug stuff from Stearmans to ultra-frights (flying lawn furniture)
They'd crash 'em or bend 'em up and we'd make 'em well again. Even worked on Richard Bach's ( Richard Bach )old Parks-Detroit after he sold it to a rich lawyer. THAT was a COOL old plane. I guess the lawyer still has it. I've lost track of all that stuff nowadays.

It was fun while it lasted. Unfortunately that party ended. LOL
