Thanked: 884Yesterday was pretty busy. Sun came up with clouds hiding the show. Sundown was a different story entirely.
Sunrise this morning was nice.
Took a tour down.
Found the old Newport school house. I think it's a church now.
Found an abandoned church.
With some interesting old woodwork.
Kept trying to find Bugscuffle. Went down some some pretty rough trails. It ain't there no more. Been gone 80 years or more.
Came back out on the black top just North of

Thanked: 884They've built a fancy NEW one with but one story about a half mile closer to the main road.
Guess they thought the Good Lord needed a shiny new house.

Wullie, I like your sunrise photos, as road photos. When I'm on an overnight road trip, it seems like night will never end. Seeing the sun finally come back up helping me stay awake is my favorite sight

This is about 24 hours later but the same spot. Can't miss those red lights.
A few more of clouds and traffic on the way home.
I have been doing this drive for over 13 years now. Pretty mundane stuff mostly on autopilot. But once in a while something exciting happens like the time an owl hit my window at 65 mph.

Thanked: 983One of these days I should get myself one of those Helmet Camera things. Video the regular farm trip and them post snap shots from it of the more interesting sights...Just wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them though.
