I, like the others who watched it happen on the news or were actually there, will not forget.
To me it's important that our children not forget. The ones too young to know, should be made aware of the attack each anniversary.
To every individual who has stopped to take that second look, to question what seems out of place and to the people at large, who have come to the realization that their security lies in their own hands; keep up the vigil.

I lost 3 friends in the trade center that day. I had another that worked in World Trade Center 5, which was Dean Witter Reynolds. I worked for the Bank of New York, Dreyfus Mutual funds in the 80's. I used the take the Path train from Jersey to the City. The stop was underneath the Trade Center, I then walked two blocks to work, right by the Trinity Church (Used in the movie National Treasure)
I did have dinner one night in Windows on the World. WTC 1. Floor 107. It was an awesome view...Last edited by zib; 09-11-2012 at 10:07 PM.

Thanked: 1587I will always take from 9/11 the tragedy of loss, the wonderful resilience of the human spirit, the bravery present in every person, the skill and dedication of the rescue organizations, the amazing potential of people.
Who'd have thought that out of so much tragedy so much hope, resilience, goodwill, strength of character, bravery, faith, dedication, pride and sheer love could emerge?
