    Default Lacrosse Players?

    Good evening everyone!

I am thinking about taking up lacrosse.. I was playing it w/ my friend the other night for the first time and it was really fun! I enjoyed it a lot. Then he suggested I join the HS team in the spring.. Anyone think I should? Also, are there any Ex-lacrosse players out there? I need guidence! Mods- if this is too out there, feel free to take it down! Just need some advice!

    Input welcome!

Parker, this is a true contact sport...with guys who want to tear your head off w/a stick. Busted ankles are very common. Are you ready to mix it up and drop 'em mid-field if a competitor gets too "personal"?

Not really into Lacrosse, but, aside from the stick to the neck, which does happen, it is a physical game. Mostly, from what I've seen, going for position. Being on sod, instead of ice, yeah, watch the ankles. You don't want to break one, trust me. Give them hell, give it your best, and have fun!!

And before you prove me wrong, yes, Maple, hockey is bad for ankles, along with every part of the body.

Thanks for all of the advice guys!!

Maple: I sure am ready for contact! Never really been afraid of much! Heck, I played tackle football with $300 Ray-Bans on! Stupid decision I know

Tyler: A already am on the bulkier side. I can do around 20 pull ups, 50 pushups, and can probably bench around 140, (not really sure, just a guess.)

donv: I have gotten some pretty strong ankles from gymnastics, but I will stretch them like none other to prevent injury!
