If they hurt then I have no problem with fixing or removing them. You will feel better!
In my case I went in for a check up [after 17 years] and they said that I had problems that I couldn't feel. "We will do 4 for the price of 2."
I may pay for it one day but I haven't gone back in over 20 years. I am going to have it hurt worse before I have anything done.

It's been decades since I had mine yanked. The doc told me not to change my schedule, if I was to go to work, do so, without lifting too much. He told me eat what you can, if all you can chew is soup, OK, if you can handle a sandwich, no problem. I snapped back the next day. ONE thing I didn't listen to, don't use a straw to drink, don't smoke and rinse, rinse rinse!! Ask him about dry socket, you don't want that. You'll be fine, enjoy the ride, another ritual of life to go through!!

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 3222Well, it is not that bad at all. I had mine done in two goes, first one side then the other after a few years, late in life. If you have had a tooth pulled before it is the same. I elected freezing because I hate being knocked out. Never felt a thing during and not much after the freezing went. Just follow the dental surgeons post op instructions and you'll be fine in a day or two.

I had mine done in the 1970s. The top ones come out easily. 1 yank and they came out. I had Novocaine. When I went back for the bottom and the dentist pulled out a ball peen hammer and chisel I thought he was joking but he wasn't. It wasn't fun.

I can't remember. By the time I was 34 I had 14 left, top and bottom and had them all pulled at once. Put the dentures in immediately. Went back to work (ironwork) immediately and spit blood throughout the rest of the day. No pain killers, didn't need them. The worst part was the following morning. I had to go back to the dentist and he removed the dentures to take a look. That hurt. Put 'em back in and smooth sailing from then on.

Thanked: 1262When I had mine removed. They knocked me out and gave me Vicodin. Just stock up on lots of soup to eat.
