    Default Darwin Award Hurricane Sandy 2012

    The neighbors. One tree split onto an adjoining tree and both were suspended by cables attached to the house. They were fortifying the little guy on the ladder with screwdrivers as he was going up to trim brandhes with an electric sawzall. Then the group of them dined al fresco on the porch steps with the trees suspended above them.

    wow that's such a bad idea.
    leave that to the guys with the tucks with the cherry pickers.

    Here in Oklahoma we get regular ice storms / tornado's that cause massive tree damage and power outages,

    Every time more people die or are injured from chainsaws or putting generators in their garages than die from the weather.
