Peep Show is one of my favorites. IMHO it peaks in series 3 and 4 - the characters and humour are fully developed, and they aren't weighed down by too much previous back-story. But I'll still watch series 8 when that's broadcast next year.

(It's not really family viewing, BTW.)

Peep show is great. In their own special style, British humor and TV series in general are one of the finest. Too many to mention here.

Just today i watched at work the legendary episode where mr. Claude Jeremiah Greengrass got drunk, as usual, and stole a locomotive. That goes into history.

Wow where have I been! I guess I am just glad that I have finally been exposed! And yes it's true that it isn't really family viewing! A ton of F-balms (shaving joke lol), and even some nudity at times.

That said here is their take on Scooby Doo! Loved it.

You'd probably like That Mitchell and Webb Look too, though it is sketch comedy and I know some people prefer a story (sitcom, or whatever people call it).

I more or less gave up watching TV and movies but two of my favorite British shows from years ago were Fawlty Towers and Benny Hill. Movies such as The Ladykillers with Alec Guinness and a young Peter Sellers, Terry Thomas in the "Carry On" series. Not sure any of you are old enough to remember that stuff.

What? No Two Ronnies, Dave Allen Show, or Dad's Army in there? If you're gonna show your age Jimmy, show it well!

An example of my personal favourite sketch series from The Harry and Paul Show: I saw you coming.

And my personal favourite: It is 5 minutes, but there is not a wasted second in this sketch, not one. Awesome.
