Thanks for the tip Ivo, but I'm one of those guys who can't stand wool. That's why I let cotton soak up the sweat and change it 2-3 times a day. On top of that I use some heavy-duty deodorant and that keeps me hygenic enough for a couple of days when shower facilities aren't readily available.

Thanked: 9bummer - both on the can't stand wool and use heavy duty deodorant counts
as one of my best friends, hardcore backpacker / true epic mountain biker guy, used to say: What do you prefer - smelling like a man or like violets (or whatever other scent one guy was wearing on a long outing)
He also said he's going to marry an ugly, stupid, and healthy girl. Well, he is an architect and married an architect (who is not exactly the first two things on his list)
Cheers
Ivo
edit: forgot to say now he uses high-end cosmetic / toiletries

By heavy duty I mean OS red-zone. That stuff was good enough to keep me from smelling after spending a full day of enumerating in 35-40 degree weather. Unfortunately that counts when having to sweet-talk people into obeying the law
