    Well where you live you may not be able too, but back in the united states in many states you have no duty to retreat in your own home or vehicle (castle doctrine). This is a growing trend and a good one.

    At any rate you wouldnt find a prosecutor in the land that would file charges against a woman with a baby shooting an intruder with a knife in his hand breaking into her house and into her room.

    You forgot about NYC. They prosecute for an unregistered weapon.

    Oh yes don't forget about Milwaukee. Had a cop get shot through a door. Didn't kill him, only ended his career . Perp got charged with reckless use of a deadly weapon or some bs charge like it (don't recall exactly). Instead of attempted homocide like he should have.
