Thread: How Did You Get Your Job?

Well mine i applied for whilst still at school. Got a provisional offer on the grounds that i got good grades. Got the grades needed and i started working for the then Inland Revenue (now HM Revenue and Customs) in the recovery department.

Did a few years in the office liaising with courts and representing the IR then decided id like to have a try at being a bailiff and actualy collecting the money/taking goods. Did that for several years. I loved every minute. Have my fair share of stories and made my money.

Started talking about starting a family with my partner and decided to change career due to the nature of the job. Now working in local government managing various contracts but after 5 years im having itchy feet and im on the look out for the next challenge.
