Thread: Post Count

In my opinion very few metrics have any bearing on much on many forums.

Speaking generally for various edged tool forums, I have read utter garbage posted by people that had 10+ years of tenure and over 10,000 posts on the forum. I have had people tell me "STFU noob" because they were older and or had a longer standing membership, or had a higher post count.

Here is a fact you can take to the bank: stupidity does not shy from high post count, long residence time, or old age, idiots can exist anywhere.

I am happy to report that this site has a lot of good info shared freely and not too much muscle flexing based on these metrics.

Some stats, these can be found using the Search filters

Members with over 10k = 5
Members with over 5k = 18
Members with over 2k (blabbermouths) = 77

I am quite surprised Jimbo did not already post this as he is the resident Statistician

No when ya hit 2k there will be a little Yapper next to "Senior Member" unless you switch that label

See how mine says "At this point in time..." it actually defaults to "Senior Mod" except I changed it or I would have a Yapper there also

Seriously! I can change senior member to anything I want! I thought only Mods could do that! Wow... people really think weird things about themselves. I thought it was you making fun of everyone lol!!

I was looking at mine - it's up there, and if you assume that I spend at min, 6 minutes leading up to a post and replying... I have spent a grand total of 7.3 whole days posting here. And we all know 6 minutes is very conservative lol.

Look up , look right see the link that says "Settings"

Go to yer settings page find the link that says edit profile see custom user title and change it
