You may laugh, but I once encountered a right wing nutter (no offense to the conservaties, the left has nutters too, it's just that this particular one was right) whose posts could have been put together by bot software scraping various media sites and then twisting parts of the story until they conformed to his notion of reality.

Oh there's still a few of those around Bruno. What I see more often however, is no one conforming and threads going on for days, if not weeks

Not at all. I'd rather see people concede that they can't agree and let it go, rather than banter back and forth for days.

Iduno abouts post counts. I mean, I have been here over a year and it looks like I just joined. Truth be I do -a lot- more reading than I do posting. I just don't see the purpose in reposting the same information that someone else said before me. I just choose to "like" their post instead. But I do like to joke with the rest of em' too... I mean, sometimes you just have to post something random.
