"Extensive collection," huh? Don't make me laugh. That thread had two or three pictures of a single mouse I had just caught in a trap. Because its eyes bulged in a cartoon-like fashion and its mouth remained wrapped widely around the clump of cheese I used as bait (not to mention that it defecated when it felt the unexpected crush of the mechanism), I decided I wanted to share the comical sight with everyone on the forum!
I guess I just didn't anticipate any offended responses from this bunch of straight razor shaving, gun-collecting, motorcycle-riding guys. Especially at the sight of a dirty little mouse, which I'm sure most people have had to dispatch with at one time or another. Vermin, for crying out loud!
Out of curiosity, if a SRP hunter were to post a picture of himself proudly holding a recently killed deer's head up by the antlers, could we expect the same effete reaction from you?
And come to think of it, why am I not seeing any reaction to this blatantly racist flash video?
Quote: "Congressmen can now me sworn in using the Koran instead of the Bible! Do you think [a Muslim congressman would] separate church and state while praying on his knees five times a day to the east?! Recruiting more terrorists from 1.2 billion Muslims will be a piece of cake!"
Pretty hypocritical how the author claims to abhor the idea of combining church and state, but finds swearing on a Christian bible perfectly acceptable. He probably also ignores Bush's many mid-speech references to God... the fact "In God we Trust" is on the currency...etc.
The author is implying that electing a Muslim is electing a terrorist and that it should not be allowed to happen.

Are you a styx fan? .
"I flip the switch on my laser video
And theres the man staring back at me
He starts to speak in a voice so righteous
About the sins of society"
"Hes got answers to all my problems
Says hell decide what I should hear and see
I try to change to another station
But all I get is more of his morality, morality!"

Man. After reading this site, I honestly felt dumber. Of course, reading nothing but poorly-constructed arguments, blatantly leading questions, and chicken little fear-mongering does that to me.
Could the dollar collapse? Could we all be unemployed? Could the Muslims turn into the SS and start killing every Christian in sight? Shit, these are about as rational as saying "could my nuts turn green and fall off tomorrow." I guess they're all a possibility.
Worried about the militaries of the Islamic nations? Are you kidding? People are confusing the problems we have here in Iraq with military might. Don't think for a moment if there was a real military threat we wouldn't pull right out of this country, so can the "overextended" argument that websites like these like to make. Iran has a big military? So what? Iraq had the 4th biggest military in the world, much of it supplied by the US and the remainder fairly decent Soviet gear. We kicked their asses up and down the country in a matter of weeks.
If you want to compare the insurgency here to Vietnam, ok, that's fair. But to imply that America is threatened by someone else's military is asinine. Acts of terrorism? Cause for concern. Douchebags in white berets? Wouldn't lose too much sleep over it.
My biggest problem with a website like this is that it just slanders the crap out of a religion, Islam, which is not at all about Terrorism. For all those who make websites like this and think Islam is so bad, take a look at the Old Testament. Think about how many of your neighbors you've stoned to death for not attending church on the Sabbath. Oh, you don't make a habit out of doing that? Well, 99.9% of Muslims don't make a habit out of Jihad, either. Islam is an excuse for political powers to hide behind. It's a way for operatives from Syria, Iran, and Czech Republic to rally support against the US, a tool to trick weak-minded and desperate people into blowing themselves up, thinking they are taking care of their families for life. Study a little counterterrorism and you'll see that within most cells there's a fellow whose sole purpose is to sell some dumb schmuck on the idea of blowing himself up and going to heaven, and he's basically just the arab version of that douche on TV who wants you to send Jesus money so Jesus can buy him another Porsche.
Alright, I'm trying to cool down the rant engines, but utter, unadulterated and completely unfounded propaganda like this tripe gets them going pretty hot. If you look at this website and come away with one thing, please come away with this: it's a sales website. The product is unreasoning fear. And that's it.

I think you're confused. This is a shaving forum. The opinions expressed on political topics are those of individuals and do not represent the site. I didn't participate in this thread as much as others with differing views because I don't want to conflict with rigid thinkers. Thankfully, most people here are willing to listen to other opinions and allow their own to evolve.
Take a breath everyone. Opinions are allowed.

He can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the site TomlinAS is referring to in his post is the one that was linked to and not this site.
Nevertheless, I'm sure everyone appreciates you raising your hand to say, "It wasn't me, it was them!" though. I know which kid you were in school.
