Red face So,...What did you do on/for Doomsday ??

Just fer fun....But did ya do anything neat or fulfilling for Doomsday. I got the cat extra food which he's contenting himself with at the moment. Gonna indulge in a decadent peasant meal(I'll post pics after I make it...whoops) of Kielbasa, smoked kippers, dill pickles, rye bread and butter, fried mushrooms and boiled potatos with dill. A nice pot of tea and also some fresh made blueberry scones. Listening to some beatuiful choir music on the classical radio station. Christmas candles all lit and settleing down to and ol fashioned X-box video game of Fable (oooold skool). Got my Briars loaded and starting in on'em also. I like my creature comforts ...that's how I wanna go out...just livin good and contented .....I figure if I see a bright flash,I'll have maybe 10 seconds before POOF ! vaporized so just makin the best of a wierd situation(notice I didn't say bad). Course.......should it more more along the lines of the walking dead or locusts eating my flesh...Hmmm...well I'll get back to ya on that. Anyway whaddya do hmm??

I got up, made a pot of coffee, and now I'm getting my SRP fix...just a normal day for me. The questions that's bothered me about the Mayan calender and it having today as the end date are: Does the world actually come to an end today somewhere in the middle of the day, or do we get the whole day and so the world would end tomorrow? Did they carry the one and account for leap years? What conversion factors where used to formulate the answer? Plus whose time zone does the beginning of the end start, the Mayans' or GMT? If I don't have answers to these questions, how can I fully prepare? Maybe we should let Congress decide, they're an agreeable bunch.

Well............question one in the short form.....use Calculus ??Question two....um....maybe we would be better off consulting one of those 8balls that ya shake upside down to read the answer. I'm thinkin that's much more reliable....unless you prefer consulting the bones ???

Got up and shaved with a nice sharp Hart Steel razor (just ATG today since I shaved 20 hours ago) and got dressed up for the work holiday party today. Then I went to work. I should probably go grab something to eat...

I don't normally get too excited for a counter rolling over...
