Dont worry about the 1911's....she had to get a revolver because she isnt strong enough to rack the slide LOL!!!

She will probably carry 38 +p, but the 357 option is there if she wants it.
OK, I feel a little better now. I was thinking about a 340PD (with .38 Specials) for myself). Lately I've been looking for a new revolver for primary, a .44 Mag mountain gun looks nice (with .44 Special). I got the 325 but hated the recoil of those Scandium monsters. I figure if I'm big enough to carry a heavy gun I might as well, but I hate heavy painful recoil.

I shoot IPSC with a revolver and I like the transfer of skills.

Im a lefty so revolvers are backup only simply due to reloading speed, but nothing is more dependable. I would go with a 44 mag in a 4" barrel, it should be a good compromise. Someone on another board of mine just got a .500 with 2.5" barrel...I would NOT like to shoot that thing!!!

    Josh,
Now you have to get her a special purse to carry the gun. They have a pocket on the back side.

    Josh,

Beautiful grips on that gun. I'm not a gun "nut", but I recognize beauty when I see it. Now, the question I'm sure the rest of the guys are wondering...how come we get to see your mug shaving with the new razor, but no pics of the wife holding the gun?

But seriously, what do you do for a living?
Living in Belgium, I can only image cops carrying guns, but I cannot image a cop taking his wife on patrol duty, so it has to be something else.

    I am really (honestly) curious.

I do some investigative and protection work. It used to be my main job a while ago, but now my wife and I are attempting to start a small business on the side. If she is not carrying a gun she isnt allowed to work with me.
