Got it for $600.00 shortly after getting my license early at 15yrs. old. I knocked the grill out of it in a wreck, and finally sold it to my aunt when she was down on her luck, 2 years later. At different times, it went through somebody's tool shed and a couple of fences, and several high school enemies got their yards trenched and doors blown off by it. Can't remember how many tickets I got, but I do recall getting away from the cops at least twice. I think that car spent about as much time going sideways as it did going forward. Never lost a race in that car, and even 30 years later, I still refuse to "drive boring".

Man I dig your style. My father was a cop so I never had to worry about tickets ever but racing - I'm with you on that. That car looks like it's faster than stinkaliciousness.

    Awesome ride

1988 Volvo 240 DL in dark blue with a dark blue interior - 5 speed manual (with no tach!). I LOVED driving that thing in the snow... sideways.

I drove mine sideways on dry pavement a LOT.

It would light 'em and keep 'em lit all the way through second and into third if I wanted it to.
