Size: 39.5 KB here is my old girl shes an 84 ford f250 with a 351 winsor and a holly 4bbl 4 speed stick tranny adn one hell of a beefed up set of leafs she will hold wood up past the side boards she aint pretty but she runs geat and simple to fix. gonna ger her dolled up when income taxes come in.

bed is a 03 ford i got for 100 some fool totaled the front end adn short on cash i did what i had to do to pass inspection. got an 86 bed for it im gonna ger the pannels fo with income tax
I bought an '81 F-250 from the Western Company ( Eddie Childs, Tx oilman extraordinaire )

It had the 351 with a C-6 I think. Had P-track and I ran those old tall skinny 16" mud grips on it. That punk pulled a LOT of smart aleck city boy's 4WDs out of the mud when they'd come to my part of the world for their annual "beer" hunt. AS that old truck was ex-oilfield, it looked like HELL, but it ran good and got me where I needed to be when I needed to be there.

Rust free? Pretty much. Not much old iron on the roads these days. Not much sittin around in the pastures any more either.

This really takes me back. My first car? I remember the hand tufted velvet seats and leather trim and big spoked wheels and deep pile carpeting. The only problem is I had to save money and wait until I could buy a horse to pull it. I'd show a picture but photography wasn't invented yet.
