Maybe things would have gone better if she spent more time on prep?

Thanked: 1371I'm guessing this would have appeared in some form of entertainment section of the newspaper, and not in the actual news.
I could be wrong.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

Maybe not the entertainment section but the editorial pages where comments on events is common. my guess is that the actual news about the accident appeared in another section and this was just all the less salient details... but it does make one wonder.

In the USA you really have to pay attention to find the news. Most of what you hear or see is 99% bias, fluff and pure imagination.

They call them stories for a reason.
the whole point of "news articles," commentary and human interests pieces in a newspaper is to fill up the blank spaces where the sales staff could not sell advertising. it is "all the news that is print to fit, not fit to print" and it has been that way for a long time.
TV and radio programming are just the filler between ads as well. the more people like the filler the more money you can charge for the ad space. Sure there is PBS but even they get money from product placement and show "sponsors"
