They think I`m a fool!
Hello all,
I`m struck on daily bases by people and institutions that they think I`m complete fool. I guess I think they count on this factor to make more money. Last scam I have discovered is that BoA has increased and changed rewards/points program. Now $50 Macy's Gift Card will cost you 6500 points where just in 2012 it was 5000 points. Well they never send me any info about that BUT when they changing their penalty rates I will always get 10 letters. Nice catch..... yeah... well there is more. Like this 1,2,3 % back program is also kind of (personally statement) silly. You will get 3% back in cash but I guess all your earning must be reported to IRS so I guess you will need to pay TAX from earnings. Unless it is going directly to your saving account which i think is fine. So why you need this program at all?
Well I just thought this might be interesting...

I refuse to do business with them based on their position on firearms.

I have to agree, BofA is a scam when it comes to their "rewards" program. About a year or so ago I was a member of their "Elite Rewards" and I received a letter stating they were doing away with that program and I had until X date to redeem my rewards or the points would expire. When I went to redeem them, there was nothing under 10,000 points left, so I ate around 8000 points. Much to my surprise about 6 months ago I got a letter from BofA inviting me to join the new rewards program. I don't think so. I only use their card in instances when a company does not take Discover.

Thanked: 3228The financial services sector depends heavily on uneducated consumers. How else could you engineer the housing debacle?

We need BofA like we need a hole in the head. Big banks bite. Join a credit union.

I like smaller banks because they have fewer armed guards.
