I am so disappointed. I like getting the mail every morning, It's like starting out the day hoping there is something good in it. Of course this leaves me open to a lot of depression shortly after when the bills come...

Just to be clear, the reason USPS is in the red has nothing to do with regular finances--it is because congress (I think c. 2005) mandated that they fund their pensions up to 75 years in the future, something which no government agency/private business has ever had to do. This was really a move to deliberately bankrupt USPS at the behest of large private carriers.

Totally read this wrong. They are still delivering packages on saturday. I'm very much ok with this. And honestly makes sense to save money. And no one like to receive bills on saturday. lol
