Thanked: 1936You sir should be very pleased with him. He will influence MANY young men while he is wearing the hat. For many, bootcamp is where we grow up. Keep him prayed up & he will be fine, as he is already a good Marine to become a DI.

Thank You gentlemen for all your kind words. I truly appreciate it. On a side note my son graduated 10th out of 81 so of course as a dad I had to mention that.

Congratulations to the entire family. Congratulations to the newly minted USMC Drill Instructor and thank you for serving! The Corps obviously recognized you as a Marine who can impart the skills and mindset to survive combat and see that their buddie's survive combat as well. Semper Fidelis. You are all heroes to me and will be in my thoughts.

Thanked: 21Land of the Free Because of the Brave! We who sign on the dotted line are a unique bunch(world wide), its not a life for everyone. My parents still say their prayers 17+years later(Coast Guard) since I joined, and now that I have a child of my own I truly understand their fears.
Your son is grooming the future U.S. Marines, and will weed out the ones that arent cut out to wear the Eagle Globe and Anchor. Congratulations on his latest, not last accomplishment!
Respectfully,
Operations Specialist Chief Christian Nasca
