What did you think about the Three Stooges Movie from last year? I didn't really go for the story, but the stunts were fantastic by the new guys. When it makes the $5 table at WalMart I'll pick it up.

I will have to check out the movie. I sort of live in a cave (no cable, broadcast, or satellite TV) so I am rarely current on movies and such.

That said, I really like a good movie once in a while and so do my kids.

My Dad and I used to watch the Three Stooges when I was just a nubbin. We'd sit in the family room and laugh until our stomachs ached. I've been a huge fan every since. My Mom just never got the humor I guess, she'd hear us just bustin' a gut and she'd come in and say, "I don't know how you guys sit and laugh at that stupid crap, there's not a thing funny about any of that!" I think that's one of the fundamental differences between men and women, we think the Stooges are hilarious comic geniuses and they just don't get it. See the little deer does the deer have any doe? Yeah two bucks, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk! Or the one where they go to fix the plumbing in those rich people's house and there's water and pipes all over. Classic

Ya, that's pretty much how it went over in our house too! 'A Plumbing We Will Go' was also one of my favorites, Wrecking stuff in the basement & then Curly in the bathroom, I'm laughing right now just thinking about it!

I used to be an iron worker so obviously "How high is up" is my favorite stooge episode. The absolute best part of any career is being able to describe the morons at work by simply comparing them to the antics of the three stooges. I just watched the end of that episode on YouTube and I laughed so hard that I woke the wife!!... She has no sense of stooge humor.

I remember a quote from a comedian named Andy Kindler: "Why don't women like the Three Stooges? Because they're not funny."

The problem is most womenfolk don't have a sense of humor. They say they do but what passes for it well, I don't know.

We did, it was called America's funniest videos. It was just real pain that kept us laughing instead of gag injuries!
