I did this and it never even crossed my mind as being out of the ordinary!

You always look a little sick because you have patches of hair missing on both of your forearms.

-When you are forced to sit down with SWMBO to negotiate an agreeable number of razors to have in "rotation".

-When you use the razors reflection to glance one last time at your BBS face before putting it away.

-When you are doing anything else that take twenty minutes and think "geez, I could be shaving right now!!"

it has been called honeing mange, and im guilty of this.

when you take your hones to work with you, so you can spend what little free time you have on breaks honing a straight. i have actually done this, the guys i work with look at me like im nuts.

ive also been guilty of spending almost as much time sanding and finishing scales whenever i had a free moment, and i mean if i had a few second to stand somewhere other than on the cast floor, i was sanding on scales to get them to the shape i wanted. or putting CA on them in the furnace control room. 5 min here/5 min there type of thing
