Thanked: 1371I forgot to mention that in my OP... After I polished it to mirror, I gave it a heavy coat of Birchwood Casey Perma-Blue and then after it dried, buffed again with white rouge. This left a very mild darkening of the steel, much like a light age patina. The darkening is so mild that you barely notice it. Too dark and it looks done on purpose.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
