Blake's razor
This razor came about from something Luis said in this post about a toy straight razor for his son Blake.
#185
I had a frowning rusty 9/16 Geneva Pyramid that was not really worth saving so I took it down to 2.5" & totally breadknifed it . Ground off most of the rust, smoothed every edge, rounded every point & made sure there were no burrs or anything spiky protruding & then pinned it up to some spare Genco scales I had. It is so not shaveready I tested it by trying to cut my wrist.. No bleeding, no pain but it still felt freeky.
You can see a size comparison with a regular size 5/8 Pyramid in the pics below.
I think the monkey tail is the most dangerous part of the razor now but as safe & blunt as it is, I trust Luis will keep it out of reach & only allow Blake to use it under his strict supervision.
It is not so much a toy razor but a training aid & may even be too large for Blake's hands atm but he can grow into it.The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

WOW Oz
You are amazing. I can't believe how amazing it looks. Blake is going to go crazy over it. I was initially blown away at the idea and after seeing it I am speechless. You are a true artist. During my post I was merely showing my pride in my son and thought how cool it would be if he had something a bit cooler. You took a father's sentiment and granted me an early Christmas wish. Thanks again. You are awesome.

Oh, I forgot to mention that Oz did not charge me for Blake's razor. He is beyond classy and I am exceedingly grateful for his kindness. Thanks again.

That's great, learning from the old man at such a young age. Think he wil be exstatic!
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

She's a beauty Oz. I love the tartan scales.
Can I just say that Oz and guys like him, who are so willing to give back to the SRP community, are what make this forum such a stand out.
Well done Oz and congrats to Luis and Blake.
