    Wierd??? I just picked up some Gem blades at CVS. They are fine. CVS brand, but Gem on the inside. Walgreens usually carries them too. If you have a utility blade, it should have been pulling at least. Some old Gems need the blade moved forward, try that???

    I don't know what you mean by moved forward; it seems like there was a slot that held the blade in only one position.
    I will reexamine the setup tonight.
