Great job! You have stuck with it and preservered. The best lessons learned!
It looks super and more importantly, authentic.

Looks like your trial and error paid off - nicely done! It seems in many cases it requires making error after error in order to learn this properly. You sir have an excellent start!

A pox on all the buffer happy madmen and the mirror finish fitting only for a display case.

Very nicely done sir. Nicely done indeed!

I find Micro Mesh a great alternative to wet & dry. It seems a very economical solution too, since it just doesn't seem to wear out - just keeps going and going! Its inexpensive, and I certainly rate it very highly for use with both razors and scales. I got mine from ebay, a pack of 9 sheets, 6 x 3 inches in size - 1500 grit through to 12000. Well worth a try.

Well, talk about waiting a few days for the test run - I've just finished. But what a test run! Amazing shaver! And given its my first use of an 8/8 blade, I'm impressed at only one very small nick.

I'm well under way with two further restores now, but this W&B is in my collection for life.
