sory lost the open photo.
I intended to do a restore not a rescale job but the imitation turtle shell scales were so brittle they shattered when i tried to pop the pins out...
And here we are...
So i'we started out with a 5/8 blade in decent shape no hone wear, just some patina...under the patina rust spots...so...reground the blade...had some spots that did not come out in the end and because i did not want to thin the blade too much...i got rid of the old round point(that's where the pitting was) style and hello new square point The edge lenght is the same...the only diffrence is the point style.
Materials used:
buffalo horn,
1/8 ss t6 pivots
red frn spacer
phosfor bronze washers:
