“Mithril is a metal found in Middle-earth as described in the fantasy writings of J.R.R. Tolkien. It resembles silver but is stronger than steel, and much lighter in weight than either.”
    sounds a like Titanium

    Bill,

I would not count myself an expert on the subject but after some research for this project, Mithril is a legendary mythical metal discussed in the Lord of the Rings. Apparently, it is a precious silvery metal very light weight but capable of providing extreme strength. Real world counterparts for this metal are thought by enthusiast to be most likely, titanium. Apparently Tolkein never divulged weather Mithril was ever based on any real metal. I also read that aluminum was a real world consideration since Napoleon III of France once purchased dinnerware made of it because it was more expensive than gold at the time. Just some fun food for thought. lol Best Regards Ken

Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

    Amazing razor... Wow!
It definitely looks like it was meant to slay Orcs.
Imagine what it does to whiskers. Yikes.
