    Default Lister & Knowles.

Well since it came in with half my work done on it all I needed to do was to finish it off with a bit of Mag Wheel polish and button her up. Well OK,, I did sand it a bit.
Since it was in this condition I figured a straight up resto was out of the question . So I played. I love to restore,, but with something like this all is fair game.
The blade came out quite nice and since it's rather large ( 15/16 and weighs a ton ) I needed a "manly" look to it. I did up some streaked black horn scales ( feathered to some ) added some 5/64th washers and pins ( the 1/16 looked silly ) added an Elk Horn wedge, hence the pores and off white color matching the streaks as I thought a pure Ivory wedge just wouldn't fit the theme here and called it done. I wanted it big, bold, in your face "manly" looking blade. And man,, does this thing cut!
