[QUOTE=rbaker2778;1260728]SO yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting with Mycarver and picking up two of my recent restoration projects.
I am going to let the pics speak for themselves. Mark is an amazing craftsman and artist, and a true gentleman. I highly recommend his services to anyone thinking of a restoration project.
Count yourself lucky... The last guy that visited ended up in a bath tub full of ice and one kidney missing...

To be accurate, it was his Liver with some Fava beans and a nice Chianti,,, slurp!
My microtome made beautiful slices even after my shave.

In all seriousness, Mark is a true gentleman. Even if you don't need a razor restoration, have a cup of coffee with him and talk razors if ever given the chance. I could sit and talk with him and listen to his knowledge for days.

Beautiful craftsmanship, mycarver. Glad you like doing this for relaxation from your real job of carving. I have loved all of the pics of both your professional and 'extra-curricular' activities. Looking forward to seeing more of both in the future.
Enjoy those blades, guys. They sure are lookers and from the sound of it; they are darn good shavers too.

I don't know about talking for days. Maybe for a few solid minutes I could hold my end up.
Thanks Noswad. You should see the carving job I'm trying to wrap up now. Crazy. Now this has me talking to myself for days!
