    One of My brushes is in Classifieds, thats fresh cut PH,You can oxidize the oils with a heat source (propane tourch) and make it darker or set it in bright sun for a week,or use a UV light source.

    Not sure of the time but it will , as someone said, turn brown and look like Walnut. I have some GDs I built that need little attention besides the stropping and they just keep cutting.

    it varies, but you can speed it up by placing it out in the sun for a few days.

    Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.

    I did mention there is a little bit of a heel hook so YES I have to radius it some more!
