Thanks Guys! I appreciate your appreciation...
The more I look at this razor the more I really like this 'soft satin' brushed finish. Particularly on a big blade like this, and especially with the dark black horn. When I do get around to pinning it up I am going to try and figure out how to do it with 'brushed satin' stainless steel collars and nickel silver pins. I think that will really finish the look.

I fully agree with you Wolf. Thanks for posting this. Great razor and great finish. I have a French nose 8/8 Rodgers that I will take on and stop at 800 grit, just to see if I can get close to this. I really like the look of it and I think you are right that this is probably about as close to what it looked like coming from the factory. Cheers.
