Vintage Restore: Joseph Rodgers 15/16 Hollow Ground FBU
This is a 15/16 Joseph Rodgers Hollow Ground For Barbers Use with original restored Black horn scales. I liked the look of this big blade with a buffed satin finish (done with an 800 grit crocus cloth) rather than a high polish so that's what I went with. It's much closer to the factory finish I believe. The blade face is etched "HOLLOW GROUND FOR BARBER'S USE" but unfortunately I wasn't able to get a clear pic of the blade face that wasn't blurry.
Hope you like it...

Neat! I like that finish. Clean and strictly business. Put some pins in it willya? It's not done till it's pinned!
I seem to be seeing too many screws here!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

If you have not yet shaved with a Joseph Rodgers & Sons, when you do you are going to love it. I have a few and all shave great, the best shaving razors I have. I love all of mine, wouldn't part with a single one except ..."From my dead cold hands"!
