BIG Blade. Very nice finish. You asked for opinions; well, I think it looks great like this. The combination of satin and polish is great.
In some other thread on some other forum in a relatively distant past, someone once wrote a nice story about the older razors probably not ever having been polished to mirror finish in the older days, because there was either no need, or the techniques were not there. I don't know. In that respect, a full satin finish might suit the originality better, but I like the way you did it now better, pure for looks. My two cents.

Simply gorgeous - for me, I prefer the mirror polish, I like it so shiny I can see my nose hairs and I love to see the water bead off the finish!! It's a spectacular blade and you did a magnificent job on the restore of it. That's the Holy Grail blade for me, been on the hunt for one of those for a long time.
