    That is in the best tradition of great razors! Everything is working together whether closed or open, it is a gem. The balance at the pivot is great!
    That, for the simple reason that it will be easy to handle while honing. I found heavy scales to be more work to hone well as the scales wanted to pull the heel into the hones and lift the toe. A lot of wapis are that way and a few customs also.

    holy snikeys! that is awesome. that bolster looks fantastic.
    Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
