    Anyway great work on the blade and excellent composition...the 62 must have been the rifle I shot as a kid at a fair loaded with .22 shorts......that probably doesn't happen much these days......did they come with an octagonal barrel?

    The octagonal ones were earlier than the 62. You probably shot the 'gallery' model which shot only .22 shorts. I remember those as well at the galleries. Seems Pixel's dad ran one long ago, IIRC.
