Winchester 8625
I have finished an old 6/8 Winchester. I relieved it of it's original yellow celluloid and clothed it in some nice vintage bone scales carved and dyed to emulate stag and wood-grain. Did not unpin the bottom and tightly pinned the top with brass spacers and stacked vintage collars. The tang and spine were reblued and 'distressed' a bit for a rustic look. Stamps were gold-filled. I feel it looks a bit more 'Winchester' now!
"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanked: 105Very nice work!
My only objection would be the gold brand, I would have gone for red, but that is me.
You have done great justice to a great blade.

Thanked: 498As Martin stated the rustic look of that picbone is so much better for that thick chunky blade. Nice coupling Tom. When your right your right, and Tom.......Your Right.Well done....

Is that a model 97? If it is, you have paired a very cool razor with one of my favorite shotguns of all time, I'm not from the English sidelock side of town.
