Thanked: 13245Wade & Butcher - Barber's Rattler in Feathered Horn
Very careful polishing to a nice Satin finish did NOT want to lose the stamps on this 8/8 Rattler
Specs:
Scales: Feathered Buffalo Horn @ .115 thickness
Wedge: Faux Ivory @ .060 at the end
Pins: Solid Brass
External washers: Triple stack
Internal washers: Brass
Honing: Chosera 1-5-10, Select Coticule Finish
and just because I haven't done one in awhile "The Balance Shot" please note the slight blur at each end, the razor is rocking a tiny bit Muhahahaha

Very nice! Do you think that this one was ground thinner than a hollow barber's use? Or just a name?

I rest my case.

Looks great, Glen. (As they always do)
Fess up now. That rocking at each end is just from that earthquake storm you had up in Idaho, right?

Glen! You my friend have once again left me drooling like a dog that's been running a coon for hours!
I'm really hesitant to now show my latest 'meager attempt' but I will still do so if only for sharing the History behind the razor.
You have a talent, a 'gift' that can't be taught or learned as it truly is a Gift!::::Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

I was wondering why you don't post your work anymore, glad you decide to share it again !
I am not sure, but I think I see on the 4th pic from top down that the wedge has a little curve to it (narrower at the pin) when looking from the wedge towards the pivot?
