I'm looking forward to honing the Reynolds. I'll use tape. There isn't much hone wear on this particular Reynolds. I'd like to keep it that way.
Brad Maggard said he spends up to an hour setting the bevel on a razor. That gives me some measure of the patience I might have to exercise. Like the peening. Until watching his tutorials, I hadn't realized that a good 300 taps go into peening a razor pin. And then too, I hadn't realized that hand-sanding a razor can take ten hours. I'm still adjusting to the scale of the activity. Learning.
