    Interesting little box, too.
Many thanks! One thing I try to accomplish is to do a 'correct' job! (even though it may not be!) Such is the case of this razor. The blade is probably 30 years older than the scales.
    Oh well!

Shaun, I appreciate that! Lots of work and sacrifice in my hobby as shown here. Rewarding, to me at least!

Coming from yourself, that means a great deal! Thank you, Sir!

These old pieces of history fascinate me and I truly enjoy working on them and preserving them. The men here who share the history and are like minded are part of the reason why I do.
A great hobby and a fine avenue to share. I truly appreciate all comments on my posts and enjoy each and every member's posts as well! Fun to share stuff!

That about sums it up. Stunning, just stunning. At first I was thinking the scales would be heavy - but stamped sheet, that makes sense!

Phrank stole my word and RoyalCake beat me to the sentiment of that word. So, all I can do now is iterate and say "stunning". I am left almost speechless at how gorgeous that razor is.

Sharptonn, I think you are some kind of Medicine Man of straight razors, or a Brujo....I have never like Sterling scales, and here you are posting another classic. Although I do kind of see a formal table setting with one of these at each plate along side a normal knife just to anticipate the looks on the guests.

True, Bill. Scales like this don't appeal to everyone! "Dinner and a shave?"
    Oh well! I like 'em!

Really really nice Tom! I have several Hawcroft & Pearson as well as Hawcroft & Sons 'Renowned' razors and they are most definitely among my favorites. Great steel! This one of yours is a Beaut...a wonderful restore Tom.
