Looks great. I think I would have passed on a resto on that blade because of the hone ware. Glad it landed in your hands. You saved it and brought it back to life.

Killer job for sure.
The hell of it is, if I saw a blade shaped like that for sale I always passed figuring it was hone wear ..... then Zak figured out they were made that way, and now everybody wants one .......... including me !Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

That's funny you said that...was thinking the exact same thing...and I did see a blade just like that and figured it was badly tapered for those reasons...went back and looked for it and found it on eBay...similar, but not the same...but yes, now the hunt is on...man that's a sweet looking razor...the RAD, the RAD...just makes me think of Marlon Brando saying, "The horror, the horror" in Apocalypse Now....it never ends!

Thanked: 4207In awe of the finish. Feel like retracting all my crude attempts as they just pale by comparison.
Love the profile and tang, curves like a Bugatti, and timeless lines..
Great work on the old girl.

Tell me I'm wrong, but that razor drives a Bugatti!
