    I don't know the exact time. The carving itself went pretty quick. A few hrs. The cleaning up , sanding , refining the lines took more. Add in the scrim work and it all adds up. It was maybe 3-4 hrs per night over the last 5 days. Then too I was doing other blades along the way and making samples for this one.

    I will be posting how I did these. I used diamond cutters. But for centuries it's been done with knives, scrapers, chisels .

    True, for centuries, but not lately. Looking at your work I would have thought it was something out of the Renaissance period ....... brings razor 'restoration' up to the level of fine art.

    The razor is amazing, the design and execution impeccable, but I'm afraid the cost of renting a tux when I shaved with it would kill me financially.
