8/8 Custom in desert ironwood burl
Well, I am really behind with pictures, so I will post a few razors in the next days/weeks which I made earlier. Here is a razor made for a real gentleman, the details were changed from the original Carbon Long tail version to match his style, simple, and elegant. 8/8 blade, mirror polish everywhere, some very moderate spinework, and desert ironwood burl laminated with african blackwood for the scales.

What a great look. The blade is super. I have always liked desert ironwood and this is a superb example.

Generally, and that means about 99% of the time I do not like wood scales on straight razors. This is the 2nd Desert Ironwood scaled blade of yours that that I have seen here that sits in the 1% of Like. And with the design of the blade....well this is a beautiful example of the art. Thanks for posting the pics.

Beautiful lines on the blade - the scale material is superb.
My service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.

Thanked: 154That is superb work !
Fluid and elegant all over.
I am not very fond of monkey tails, and find that, while it provides some sort of balance here, it still is a bit too much.
But well, that's what I like, and not what I objectively judge : very good work indeed.Beautiful is important, but when all is said and done, you will always be faithful to a good shaver while a bad one may detter you from ever trying again. Judge with your skin, not your eyes.

As always, your work is superb Jeness. Your style carries through to all of your different blade profiles.
