    Default Fram 6/8

Finding my restore queue empty and in need to do something constructive I dug out this Fram and honed it up. It shaved nicely and so I decided to polish it up and give it new shoes. Black G10,and brass wedge.

Very nice. What do you use to shape the brass?
    State v. Durham, 323 N.W. 2d 243, 245 (Iowa 1982) (holding that a straight razor is per se a "dangerous weapon").

I use a belt sander to taper the wedge and the disc portion of the sander to trim the wedge after it is pinned to the scales.
