I gave up on it after some time, I am getting my washers from microfasteners, pins from knifemakers supplies (texas knifemaker, usa knifemaker). You can't really get these in Europe, easier to swallow the shipping price and have stuff thats 100% the size you need.

With the exception of the diamond Ti-like ends, I absolutely love this.
I LOVE camel bone. Especially the natural streaks of color that you usually don't know are there until you get down to finer grits. Don't mind working in bone at all (Just did my Ralf Aust in cow bone)
I've never gone over 8/8. This would be a razor I would love in rotation..

Thanked: 2284I've used bone once for scales, and the reason only once is exactly as you stated. It's so hard and very smelly! There's no denying your results though, the scales IMO are a premium example of how good bone can look on a razor. There's only one thing I would change with this razor that you should have realized, and I can't believe you didn't.
You should have shipped it to me immediately upon finishing! A Simply Gorgeous razor.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....
