Default 9/8 Chopper in white camel bone

I don't really like working with bone, anyone who tried it at least once knows why. It is hard to sand, hard to cut, but thats nothing compared to the smell, it would wake even the dead it stinks so much

The really bad thing about it is that it looks so terribly awesome that I have really no choice sometimes, and have to use it. This was an occasion like that, the gentleman wanted bone, so be it.

I really like the razor this way, if I forget how bad the smell was while working on it

    Nice job, love the pinning.

Nice even bevel, looks thin, how thick is it?

Good question, I don't remember how thin this one was, but I usually stop at around 0,08mm thickness, that would be around 3 thousands of an inch, if I calculate correctly. For some time I ground everything down to the same thickness, but nowadays I leave it a bit thick, set a coarse bevel, and than grind it down to a nice thin line. So I can't really tell how much it is exactly, but it is around that number

+1 on the pinning mentioned by Euclid440. I see the logic of screws, but will always prefer traditional pinning even on non traditional modern creations. Just a beautiful razor, ready to begin it's journey through time. Hopefully it will be around in 200 years and a future Martin103 will pinpoint it in time....maybe with a link to SRP!
